Image: On behalf of the UGA Physics Club, it is our pleasure to announce that we are officially renewing and accepting applications for the 2025-26 Society of Physics Students (SPS Chapter)! The Society of Physics Students is a national organization for college and university students with an interest in physics, mathematics, engineering, and other scientific fields that gives its members exclusive access to travel and academic scholarships, scientific journals looking to publish research, and invitations to conferences hosted by SPS throughout the year. Housed within SPS is the Sigma Pi Sigma Physics and Astronomy Honor Society which students who have demonstrated academic excellence in physics and astronomy are welcome to apply. This application is open to all students with an interest in physics, and the application period will be open starting now until September 26th. Students being considered for this opportunity must be prepared to pay $10 for membership processing fees, but feel free to reach out to ama05490@uga.edu for a fee waiver if necessary.
