Stellar Structure and Evolution Credit Hours: 3 hours. The internal structure and evolution of single and binary stars from formation to supernova. The equations of stellar structure and their numerical solution are discussed. Recent developments in stellar evolution theory, including brown dwarfs and extrasolar giant planets are presented.
